Question

How do you handle shipping and delivery?

Answer

For smaller assemblies, we can arrange shipping via common carrier with appropriate packaging and protection to prevent damage in transit. For larger or more complex assemblies, freight forwarding or specialized transport may be required, and we’ll coordinate logistics based on project specifics. For local projects, we can deliver directly using our own vehicles. If your project involves field installation, our crews bring the assemblies with them. We’re flexible and work out logistics that make sense for the project size, destination, and timeline.

What exactly does Synergy Piping do?

We provide specialized piping fabrication, machining, and welding services to mechanical contractors, industrial facility owners, and engineering firms. Our work focuses on shop prefabrication of pipe assemblies, alloy welding, stainless steel, precision pipe and flange machining, sanitary pharmaceutical piping, modular skid assembly, field installation support, and consulting services related to prefabrication strategy. We operate as a back-end partner to contractors, augmenting their capabilities without competing for their clients.

Who are your typical clients?

Our clients are primarily mechanical contractors who need specialized expertise or additional capacity, and facility owners managing industrial, pharmaceutical, chemical processing, or commercial properties. We work with contractors who value reliable execution and ethical business practices. We do not market directly to end users or facility owners who are already working with a contractor—we’re a behind-the-scenes partner, not a competitor to the contractors who use our services.

What industries do you serve?

We serve multiple industries including pharmaceutical and biotech, food and beverage processing, chemical and petrochemical, HVAC and commercial construction, industrial manufacturing, power generation, and general industrial maintenance. The common thread across these sectors is a need for quality piping work, often involving specialized materials or compliance with specific codes and standards. Our capabilities are particularly relevant in applications where material certifications, welding qualifications, and dimensional precision matter.

Where are you located and what geographic areas do you serve?

We’re based in [location to be specified by client], and we serve contractors and facility owners throughout [service area to be specified]. For larger projects or when logistics allow, we can ship prefabricated assemblies to more distant locations. Field installation and consulting services are typically provided within a regional service area, though we can discuss travel arrangements for projects that justify it. Contact us to discuss your location and project specifics.

What materials can you work with?

We work with carbon steel (A53, A106, A333), stainless steel (304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, duplex grades), exotic alloys (Inconel 600/625/718, Hastelloy C-276/B-2, Monel 400/K-500, titanium), aluminum, copper alloys, and specialty materials as project requirements dictate. Each material has its own fabrication and welding requirements, and we maintain the procedures, qualifications, and filler metals appropriate for the materials we handle. If your project involves a material we haven’t worked with recently, we’ll discuss qualification requirements and timeline upfront.

What pipe sizes can you handle?

We handle pipe sizes from small-bore tubing (1/4″ and up) through large-diameter pipe, typically up to 24″ diameter, though larger sizes can be accommodated depending on the specific application and project requirements. Our equipment is sized for the work most contractors need, and when exceptionally large or heavy components are involved, we can discuss logistics and whether subcontracting certain operations makes sense.

Do you provide design services or engineering?

Synergy Piping is not a replacement for an engineer of record, but we can support contractors and facility teams with practical fabrication input, field coordination, and constructability conversations. If your project already has drawings, specifications, or an engineering direction, we can help work through the piping details and identify where our fabrication, machining, or welding support fits.

For broader engineering needs, we will work alongside the appropriate project professionals rather than overstepping the role your team already has in place.

Do you provide material certifications and test reports?

Yes. All materials we supply come with certified material test reports (CMTRs) that document chemical composition, mechanical properties, heat numbers, and compliance with applicable ASTM or ASME specifications. We maintain full material traceability from raw material through fabrication to final assembly. For projects requiring specific documentation formats or additional testing, we can coordinate those requirements and include results in the final submittal package.

What weld inspection and testing do you provide?

All welds receive visual inspection in accordance with applicable code requirements (typically ASME B31.3 or AWS D1.1). When project specifications or code requirements call for non-destructive testing, we perform or coordinate liquid penetrant testing (PT), magnetic particle testing (MT), radiographic testing (RT), or ultrasonic testing (UT) as needed. We work with qualified third-party inspection agencies when independent verification is required, and we provide complete documentation of inspection and testing results.

What quality standards and certifications do you maintain?

We work to ASME B31.3 Process Piping, ASME B31.1 Power Piping, and ASME BPE Bioprocessing Equipment standards, depending on the application. Our weld procedures are qualified per ASME Section IX, and our welders hold performance qualifications demonstrating their ability to produce code-compliant welds. We maintain documentation of all certifications, qualifications, procedures, and inspection records, and we can provide these for client review as needed.
